Fresh out of the plane after 36 hours, we had traveled from Denver, CO to Surigao, Philippines. We had plenty of time to rest and most of us were ready to play! We ended up losing that first game, but at the end of our trip came to a conclusion that the game's score doesn't always reflect the final victory.
At half-time of the first game Trevor and John G. shared their testimonies while Tata M. translated. We were in the southern Philippines and our English message always needed translation into the Visayan language. We pray for language barriers to break down and Christ's Good News to shine through.

From July 16 to August 4, we played 36 games and lost twice. We worked with 20 pastors and between 200-500 spectators attended each game, totalling over 8,000 people in attendance. It's a good thing we had 14 players on the roster!
Grateful to God for the grace and love showed to us by the Filipino people, we traveled halfway around the globe to play basketball and share Christ's love in the Philippines.
But we seek to be more than just competitors, as a Sports Ambassador, we train to be 3 dimensional.

We desire to develop ourselves:
1) Physically
2) Mentally
3) Spiritually
We hope others will join us. Will you consider it?
